Welcome Skukuza - skyping Mr Ward in South Africa

We had an exciting whole school assembly this morning where we had actually got to talk to Mr Ward live from a school in South Africa! Isn't modern technology amazing?!

Mr Ward was in Skukuza near the Kruger National Park at a school where the children told us amazing facts about the school, their families and where they lived. The children get to see the 'big five' animals almost daily - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalo - as well as zebras, giraffes, hyenas and many more wild and exotic creatures. Far more exciting then the seagulls swooping around the playground!

The children sang us a song and then we all sang a song back to them. We had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and speak to the teacher and children.
We can't wait for Mr Ward to return so he can tell us all about his adventures in South Africa, meeting the children of Skukusa and showing us all the photos he has taken.
